Although Wildermyth has been in early access for quite some time, the full version 1.0 has only just recently launched. As with most early access games, this has caused a spike in the player base, so there are a lot of newer players trying to figure out how the game works. Healing is an important part of any RPG, so this is an understandable question.

How to Heal in Wildermyth

There is only one way to restore lost HP in Wildermyth, and it doesn’t require any action by the player. As players traverse and explore the world map, their heroes will automatically regenerate HP. Outside of this, the only thing that resembles healing is the Aid ability. It is an ability that is available to all classes that grants temporary hit points, but this isn’t really true healing. Without the use of mods, there aren’t any other ways that players can heal their characters up.

Why is There no Healing in Wildermyth

World Walkers does leave a link to the Steam Workshop for Wildermyth, implying that players might be able to find mods that add healing to the game there. The statement makes it pretty clear that healing won’t be added to the game anytime soon, however, at least not in any kind of magical sense.

Wildermyth is available now on PC.
