Microsoft’s Explanation for the Teams Feature Desync Microsoft explains everything on the Tech Community website. As it turns out, Microsoft constantly gets questions on why two people can have the same version of Teams as each other, but one will see features that the other doesn’t have. This odd occurrence happens because Microsoft sends out updates in two waves. On the first wave, Microsoft begins slowly updating everyone’s copy of Teams, but all of the new features introduced in the update are locked away for the time being....

Yulia Boyko, the widow of Colonel Vadim Boyko, wrote an open letter to Putin, saying that her husband committed “self-execution” after being pressured over failures in Russia’s mobilization drive. Vadim Boyko, deputy director of the Vladivostok Pacific Naval College, was heavily involved with Putin’s mobilization efforts. Conflicting reports emerged in the aftermath of his death. Local media outlets including newspaper Dalnevostochnye Vedomosti reported that his death was classed as suicide, while the Baza Telegram channel reported that five gunshots were heard from the colonel’s office....

The statement said Ruth had died aged 46 of the rare form of lung cancer she suffered from in her home country of Australia. Strauss, a former England cricket captain, announced in early October he was standing down permanently as the national side’s director of cricket following a period of compassionate leave. A new report says 30 percent of augmented reality products and 23 percent of VR shipments will include cellular connectivity by 2027. Major VR headset makers don’t currently offer built-in high-speed 5G connections, but once they do, it could make a big difference in how you use the device and even help wounded soldiers on the battlefield. “The future of VR isn’t going to be restricted to living rooms or offices,” Danny Parks, the vice president of technology for mixed reality agency Trigger XR, told Lifewire in an email interview....
